Asian Ski Federation is one of the main international organization of ski Sports. It is found by Dr. Sung Won Lee in the early 1990. Today, it has a membership of 13 national associations and is based in Seoul, Korea.
The Asian Ski Federation is organizing every season a range of activities for their member nations including courses for trainers, course-setters and other training and educational projects as well as Asian Alpine Ski Championships for Children.
Chinese Ski Association was founded in 1984, also referred as "CSA". CSA is located in Beijing.
Chinese Ski Association is registered under the People's Republic of China Ministry of Civil Affairs. It has independent legal personality of the national sports community groups, CSA is also the Chinese National Sports Federation of the corporate members of the Chinese Olympic Committee recognized national sports associations.
Chinese Ski Association represents China to participate in the International Ski Federation and other international sport organizations snow the corresponding international, intercontinental snow various activities as the sole legitimate organizations. This is a non-profit social organizations.
The International Ski Federation - Fédération Internationale de Ski, Internationaler Ski Verband - is abbreviated in all languages as FIS.
The organisation was founded on 2nd February 1924 during the first Olympic Games in Chamonix, France with 14 member nations. Today 107 National Ski Associations comprise the membership of the FIS.
The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (abbreviated as SF&OC) is a member of the IOC, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and East Asian Games Association (EAGA).
SF&OC is responsible for the participation of Hong Kong Delegation to the Olympic Games (Summer and Winter), Asian Games (Summer and Winter) and East Asian Games. At present, there are altogether 74 member associations under SF&OC. SF&OC is also the spokesman of the sports industry in Hong Kong. [ Link ]
