1st International Sking Industries Cooperation Forum
The first International Sking Industries Cooperation Forum, organized by China Ski Association and the People's Government of Heilongjiang. The event was held from August 29-September 1, 2007 in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, China, attracted foreign participants from over five countries and 250 Chinese delegates.
The focus of the forum was on the development of Skiing in China, topics covered included: the promotion of regional ski resorts as a tourist attraction, the construction of Ski resorts within China, strategies to increase the profit of ski resorts as well as the future direction for Ski resorts developments in China. The panel comprised of ski experts within the Heilongjiang Province Government, officials from China Ski Association, officials from Ski Association of China, Hong Kong Ltd., officials from Chinese Taipei Ski association, venture capitalist, owners and managers of skiing resort in China, and professionals within the ski industry and tourism industry.
